2. I guess the White House Fatah campaign failed
BIG shocker there. A Hamas near-win or win was in the bag as the Pals think Hamas defeated Israel and forced them to withdraw from Gaza. Little did they know Israel withdrew b/c Bush said so.

3. Hamas Wins - This is Democracy? Wanna buy a bridge, too?
Thugs, Thieves, Terrorists; Hatemongers; Suicidal/Homicidal Fundamentalist Lunatics....need I say more? Imagine having these lovely folks mobilizing and planning your destruction right outside your own backyard? Any world leader who thinks that these people are going to sit down at some friendly conference table with a shiny new laptop in hand; wearing nice clean suits with matching shoes and ties (sans bombs, knives, guns, clubs, rocks and other Hamas paraphanalia) and discuss peace options (other than Israel being totally obliterated off the map) is seriously in need of a reality check and some strong medication for all the symptoms of delusional thinking. This is not a political party as civilized nations would define it; Hamas is a terrorist circus side-show.

you got out of Gaza not b/c Bush said so, b/c israel got defeated.
Israel could not continue to afford defending the settlers. Its that simple.
Israel occupied the land for 30 years, and on the long term, they lost -
Israel is winning battles -but lost the war in Gaza.... and if ppl like you do not see this, u will soon loose in the west bank, and then will loose telavive...
Remember: Israel should NOT be established before the Messaiah!

Israel still buys into the failed agenda of the fools whose only solution is to throw millions of dollars and wish upon their delusions.
I wonder how George will spin his latest grand blunder / Will he make Hamas as pure as he did Fatah and the PLO ?
Is Israel still in the grips of this false peace scheme which as done more harm and weakened her more than every war before this ?
This one wolf in sheeps clothing has accomplished more against Israel than five wars. Israel is losing thru the peace.

But consider this: When Israelis voted for Ariel Sharon to lead their government in 2000, most of the Arab world was appalled.
They remembered Sharon as the general who led Israel's bloody and disastrous invasion of Lebanon, and the man who was a determined opponent of Palestinian self-determination.
But it wasn't an Israeli "peacenik" like Shimon Peres who withdrew Jewish settlers from occupied land.
It was Sharon who did it. And it was Sharon, more than any current Israeli politician, who brought the two parties closer to a two-state solution.

I can see no difference between Hamas and Fatah as far as Israel is concerned. Hamas and Fatah are both blood-thirsty killers, they are both not particulary intelligent as they still believe they can destroy Israel. I do believe Hamas is as much corrupt as Fatah, the only difference is that their corruption is less known (so far).
Actually the only difference I see is that Hamas cover their women with black rags from hair to toe and Fatah does not...But that is the issue for their women...

do't you think that the scum (W Bush and his gang) is the real killer. go and read about the wars the americans did in Vietnam, Panama, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc.. The american heros kills babies by WMD, your soldiers were and still wailing like pegs. Go and read about the massacres against women and children, read about the crimes rapes your allies did in afghanistan and Iraq.
Why you are always allied with dectators Pinochet and Soharto are examples.
If you can see, make a revision then decide.
you annihilated american red indians, WHY? you are refusing to sign Kyoto agreement, WHY?
The highest crime imprisonment rate is in the US.?? is it considerable?
You need to understand and accept others, you could't change the life of others, we watch american movies, made by americans, we eat your products, are you ready to accept us? did you ever read about Islam? we read the bible.

If the world had balls they would for once stand up and say the whole of PA are terrorists. For this no talk of a state and no talk of any MORE money. Ah, the money and legitimization, I see. If the truth were told Israel would no longer be held responsible for the pooooor Palestinians. No one to blame except...
Anyway, Fatah all the way to Hamas is all the same. We know it and so must the rest of the world. Having said that it is more important to protect the PA then tell the truth.
Just wait, somehow someway the US, EU and all the rest will find ways to cover for Hamas. Give it time.
Speaking of Fatah/Al-Aqsa,
an interesting read....

18. A day of mourning

Palestine |
|
(01.26.06) |
This is a day of mourning for me. I dont know if all Palestinians who voted to Hamas know what kind of party they voted for. The only thing i know is that i know a lot of ppl who voted for Hamas not because they believe in it. Just because they are fed up of the current internal situation. Im totally against what they did. And i wish they didnt do that. Ill pray things will not get worse in terms of politics, economics, and socially.

And by the way im not saying so coz Hamas are killers. Im saying so coz i dont believe in having religious parties in politics. Im against Hamas in internal issues, and some of its external issues.

As I said, when masses are annoyed they become radicalized and vote for hardliners, not peacemakers.
Although I didn't expect Hamas would win a majority of votes.

21. Where is the difference HAMAS terror or PLO terror
Gabrielle Goldwater , |
Geneva Switzerland |
|
(01.26.06) |
For months the media were all in suspense over whether the victors in the
"election" would be the Hamas terrorists or the PLO terrorists. As it
turned out, the Hamas evidently "won" the "election" by a slim majority
Both are equally
dedicated to unlimited terror and violence, to genocide and the
eradication of Israel in any form and in any borders.
May be the world will wake up NOW, and see THE terrorism
The New Government Portfolios:
Hamas in charge of Kassam rocket attacks
Fatah in charge of drive by shootings
Hamas in charge of human suicide bombs
Fatah in charge of coordinated "police" operations
Hamas in charge of kidnapping non-Israelis
Fatah in charge of kidnapping Jews
Now for the really BIG change
Fatah will share International Aid skim offs or complete thefts with Hamas EQUALLY and Hamas will promise not to demand restitution of money cornered by arafat over the last decade.
HOWEVER, funds coming in from Saudi Arabia and Syria and Iran wil soely be the properyty of Hamas.
In return, Hamas, so as not to embarrass Fatah will allow US funds to be the property of Fatah with the privision that 20% be held in secret joint accounts in Europe and if Hamas is not happy with skims of Euro and UN money these funds can be added to Hamas after a year's wait.

this was the situation anyway, with fatah in charge in the past allowing palestinian terrorism. now terrorism, if it occurs, will rest firmly on the shoulders of the palestinian government. unilateral moves can be made and no negotiations with the pa need to be done, which is good since, as sharon showed us, negotiations with them are a waste of time. meanwhile, the situation will continue status quo and after a few years of misery the palestinians (if hamas allows another election) will democratically change their minds. democracy is always a good thing.
|
|
|
Unexpected results ! But the important thing here is that it has been proven now that Palestine is the best democracy in the world where they had the most organized and well planned elections ALTHOUGH the country is under occupation.
I honestly think that palestinians finally got to the point where they fully deserve their full independence and their state with Jerusalem as a capital. Thats the least the international community should give.
We must encourge true democracies like Palestine.
To all of the palestinians who read this, i want to congratulate you for setting new high standards for democracy.
and to israelies, maybe its time to realize that your crimes in palestine was the main reason for palestinians to turn to their only choice (resistance) . Seek peace and you will find it. Its your chance now to sign a peace agreement with the palestinians.

24. Well done!
Sam , |
Arad, Israel |
|
(01.26.06) |
By electing a party whose idea of a two-state solution is to have the Jewish one be at the bottom of the Mediterranean, you just gave Israel carte blanche to draw the final borders unilaterally. Fatah's willingness to negotiate might have earned you more land and maybe even a portion of Jerusalem, but apparently that's not what the voting public wants. Col hakavohd Palestine!

we must hold our world leaders to higher standards then the media. What our so-called leaders say trickles down to not only the media but the hearts and minds of most people. The media delivers but who is the messenger??
Furthermore, when you have the US government welcoming Abbas to the White House throwing all kinds of undeserved accolades upon him, what should the average Joe and the media to whom they tune in, think? When you have world governments who revise history how can we ask more from the media when they revise history?
Let's face it if world leaders had courage there would be no US led quartet of liars. There would only be truth. No money to Palestinians. No more whitewashing and brainwashing the public as to who deserves what and why. Face it, Israel has become the pariah, and the victims have become the victimizers in part by lying politicians. All of them to one extent or another.
Mid-way through this last intifada where Jews were being slaughtered right and left there would be no talk of a state from an American president who darn well knew better if truth were to be upheld.
There would be no arm twisting of the US ally who did not deserve to have it's arms twisted. No threats to the wrong country. No undeserved consequences to the children of that country. The only thing we should have heard is a loud call to the corrupt Palestinians to for once cease and desist it's culture of hate.
For once the world would stop rewarding and start holding accountable. Yah right, that never happened.
No rewards to those people only consequences and personal sacrifices not sacrifices to MY FAMILY. As for the party of Abbas who Bush claims is a man of peace whose very party now has long range missiles to attack MY FAMILY. Abbas the man who has done nothing not one thing to make peace or change from within. This quartet of liars should have said, no money, no ties, nothing! Every political offshoot of the PA are terrorists. You stated that quite succinctly Ms.Goldwater. So I ask you Ms. Goldwater, why not the President? Why not the head of the US led quartet for a Palestinian terror state?? What kind of charade is this?
Yes, the media is often the demon but the real demons beyond the media and beyond those that have killed my family are lying world leaders. I excepted so much more from Bush. Especially post 9-11. He was our hope. Until our politicians become examples of truth and justice the media will only be an extension of their current mirror image.

DId you know that Hamas voting women concider that sending at least one of their own flesh and blood as a martyr is a pride? Do you know that this "democracy" you talk about has absolutly no respect for human life. Resistance is one thing i agree with. I m sure life is very difficult. But maybe you should reconcider and look at other muslim countries and see the differences. Hamas will only set them back to equal Iran or what used to be Irak. They certainly were on the right track. As for what will happen... i m not very optimistic.
