33. To the imposter at No. 19

Perhaps you should acquaint yourself with American history. Did you know, for example, that Peter Minuit and Peter Stuyvesant excluded Jews from New York? Did you know that William Salomon helped finance the American Revolution?
I assure you that the Jews who did arrive in the United States -- at whatever time they did arrive -- did not constitute a criminal element. They did not go around molesting young girls. They did not fall into drunken stupors in public parks and playgrounds. They did not steal bicycles (or horses or wagons or whatever). Is that how one goes about looking for a decent life? No, it isn't. So why do you consider it racist to simply express the truth?

"Spelt" is not incorrect, but it is more commonly British usage. Clearly the imposter doesn't know grammar at all well.

Do you seriously mean to suggest that one cannot contribute in a meaningful way to the State of Israel unless they drain swamps or pick oranges? That said, when I was sixteen years old, I spent the summer in Israel, doing an ulpan, on a kibbutz. I picked avocados, though. Does that count?

They treat you as prescribed in the Torah as preached by leading rabbis, like Yosef, Ginnsburg

38. they are not different to olim hadashim
As argentinian "ole" all I can see is they are not different, most of argentinians and russian whom arrived in the last decade are not truly zionists but economical refugees, I was one and I say thank you to Israel, but I remained antizionist, maybe if you give them an opportunity you´ll find a new reason to keep israel existing and additional support because just like russians or south america, they´ll support Israel if Israel pays them, like mercenaries.

40. If they don't like it in Israel, why not try "Palestine"?
They can move ten miles to Kalkilya, and see how their fellow Muslims treat them.
They wouldn't last five minutes.

Netanya , |

this issue.
They went to Egypt, where they were kidnapped, tortured and raped. There are loads of vids on youtube showing the stories of these poor people.
They had no way to stay in Egypt and be abused, so they made their way to Israel.
The problem is why no human rights groups, including the UN addressed the root problem of their home countries violence from Islamists (where they were also slaves, like Simon Deng who spoke at the UN) and then in Egypt received the same type of treatment, forcing them into Israel.
These people paid dearly to come to Israel, illegally through Egypt; the Buduins made a huge business of getting money from these people.
They went to Egypt looking for a haven and found another hell, where are all the human rights groups or the UN? Why is the abuse allowed to continue?
I think preserving Israel is paramount to us, but the human rights groups should stop the abuse of these people in their countries and Egypt, then Israel wouldn't have a problem in the first place.

Why not deport the Sudanese or Eritreans first???
The Egyptians have diplomatic relations with both of them, so they should be able to bring them there.
I'm pretty sure the 1.500 South Sudanese are for Israel much more comfortable than the other 58.000 ones. And they are not even Muslim, but Christian. Big difference.

Mr. Bazia, regarding your comment "We've only had independence for 10 months. You can't build a state in 10 months" Israel built a state with immigrants who had nothing at all - holocaust survivors and refugees from North Africa and the middle east. You and your people can do it. This is your chance. Rather than being refugees in Israel, seize the day and build your own country. I sincerely wish you and your people good luck and success.

Great point! The answer is that the UN does not care about African or any other refugees. The UN has one agenda: trying to destroy Israel by pretending to support Palestinians. In the meantime, the downtrodden people of Africa, Syria, etc., cannot expect to receive any help from the UN.

The UN can vacate their palatial compounds in Jerusalem, and with the liquidated funds set up a safe zone in Eritrea. Their Arab darlings, like most people would do better without them.

47. to #7, Leon from Britain
Jews did not enter countries illegally, they were simply denied entry. Frankly, you own county, Britain, was granted the Mandate so it could be used a refuge for Jewish. Unfortunately, the pro-arab anti-semites in the British government cared only about their imperialist goals, subsequently not only illegally giving Mandate lands east of the Jordan river to establish an illegal autocratic monarchy ("JOrdan"), but also denied entry to the very Jewish refugees for whom the Mandate was created!! Consquentyl, millions of Jews were murdered by Germans, HUngarians, ROmanians, Slovaks, Croats, Austrians, and other Europeans in the Holocaust! EVEN after the Holocaust, the UK refused to allow the remnant Jews of Europe to repatriate to the the Mandate!

Your even tempered and rational comments will find little favor on pages such as this. Regardless of the issue, the degree of hatred and acrimony expressed by these hatemongers is usually innapropriate.

49. Some people actually believe we do as G-d says
When an alien resides with you in your land, you shall not oppress the alien. The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
