A senior Israeli official responded to Hamas leaders who confirmed the terror organization agreed to a five-year ceasefire in exchange for releasing all hostages, stating that Israel rejects the proposal. 'Ideas are being floated by some Arab countries, such as a 5-year war pause,' the official noted. 'There is no chance we will agree to a hudna (ceasefire) with Hamas that would only allow them to rearm, recover and continue their war against Israel with greater force.'
