Eli Tahar, a bereaved father and brother and deputy chairman of the Yad Labanim organization, will read the 'Yizkor' (remembrance) prayer at the state ceremony closing Memorial Day for Israel's fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. This ceremony also marks the opening of Israel's 77th Independence Day celebrations, which will include the traditional torch-lighting ceremony.
