Defense Minister Israel Katz met with IDF General Staff Forum members, together with IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, ahead of Memorial Day for Israel's Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism. The Defense Minister told the General Staff Forum members that 'We will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons. We will need to make decisions, and we know there are those who will execute them if we need to act. The second matter currently at the forefront of our operations and fighting is returning the hostages and defeating Hamas in Gaza. We will act to ensure that a murderous organization like Hamas will not exist on the other side - this is a reality that cannot coexist.'
