Public Security Minister Amir Ohana condemned the protest outside the Prime Minister’s Residence on Tuesday.
“What we saw yesterday was anarchy,” he said, calling the demonstrators “agents of chaos seeking to sow panic and venom in the public.”
Ohana claimed the “incitement” against former prime minister Yitzhak Rabin in the run-up to his murder pales in comparison to the threats against Netanyahu.
Ohana also said he’ll name a candidate for permanent police commissioner within 30 days.
