As of Monday morning, there are 16,237 confirmed coronavirus cases in Israel, while 234 patients have succumbed to the virus.
On Sunday, Israel recorded its lowest number of new COVID-19 diagnoses in 24 hours in the past month, with only 29 reported cases.
Of the latest number, 93 people are in serious condition, with 72 patients needing ventilator support, a drop of 5% over the past 24 hours.
The Health Ministry said there are 6,764 people currently infected with the pathogen, while 9,858 have recovered from the disease.
Health officials also released some additional date on the virus in the country. The rate of infection appears to be higher in men, with 13% of the infected are males between the ages of 20 and 29. Women in the same age group represent 10% of the overall diagnoses in Israel.
Jerusalem still leads the other Israeli cities in the rate of the virus spread with 3,571 confimer COVID-19 cases so far, followed by the Haredi city of Bnei Brak with 2,857.
Tel Aviv have so far reported only 537 confimed cases.
Haredi city of Beit Shemesh and the ultra-Orthodox settlement of Modi'in Illin have recorded 494 and 408 caes so far.
