The eldest son of soccer superstar David Beckham is officially of the market after tying the knot Saturday in a Jewish ceremony at the family mansion in the United States.
Brooklyn Beckham, 23, married actress Nicola Peltz, 27 in a luxurious ceremony at Palm Beach, Florida. The ceremony was held under a chuppah and officiated by a rabbi.
During the ceremony, Beckham was seen wearing a yarmulke and a tallit, and even broke a glass as done in Jewish traditional weddings. The two were blessed by the "seven blessings," - as is tradition in the Jewish law - one by the father of the groom.
Peltz is the daughter of the Jewish businessman and billionaire Nelson Peltz, and she was raised in a Jewish household, whereas Beckham has Jewish roots on his father's side.
The young couple was married at the ocean-view mansion of Peltz's father in Florida, whose net worth is estimated at $1.7 billion, dwarfing the Beckham family's $494 million fortune.
The estate was reportedly purchased by Peltz in 1987 at a cost of $13.5 million, and it is now worth around $103 million. According to media reports, the wedding was estimated to have cost £4 million (over NIS 16 million).
Among the famous guests at the event were Eva Longoria, Gordon Ramsay, Venus and Serena Williams even Victoria's former bandmates from her Spice Girls era - Mel B and Melanie C.
Brooklyn and Nicola began dating in October 2019 and announced their engagement nine months later in July 2020. "I asked my soulmate to marry me, and she agreed. I'm the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband, and one day the best father," said Beckham after the two confirmed their engagement.
Nicola also shared a photo and wrote: "You made me the luckiest girl in the world. Looking forward to spending the rest of my life by your side, your love is the most precious gift."
