Pentagon denies report senior staffer behind leak of Israel attack plans

Pentagon Press Secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder on Tuesday denied the reports that Ariane Tabatabai, a Senior staffer at the Pentagon, of Iranian origin was suspected of being behind the leak of Israeli plans to strike Iran and said the Pentagon is in contact with Israel regarding details of the investigation. "it is important to let the investigation run its course," Ryder said in a briefing. "To my knowledge, this official is not a subject of interest and the department remains fully committed to supporting the investigation." Earlier Sky News Arabic named Tabatabai as the person who leaked the documents on Israel's plans to attack Iran.
