The IDF Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, conducted a situational assessment and discussion with commanders Monday night in the Jabaliya area of the Gaza Strip, including with the Commanding Officer of the Southern Command, Major Gen. Yaron Finkelman, the Commanding Officer of the 162th Division, Brigadier Gen. Itzik Cohen, and the brigade commanders, the IDF spokesman announced Tuesday evening.
