A bipartisan delegation of U.S. congressmen, led by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jefferies, will arrive in Israel on Thursday to discuss with Israeli officials “the Iranian threat and efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza, the return of hostages and increased humanitarian assistance to the Palestinians.” According to Jefferies, the visit to Israel is also expected to include participation in a ceremony to mark Holocaust Remembrance Day. In addition, the delegation will also travel to Britain, Denmark and Jordan, and will include members of the Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, National Security and Energy committees.
