Bennett to vote against 'defendant law' that would prevent Netanyahu's candidacy

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced that he intends to vote against the "defendant law" that would prohibit a person who has been indicted from forming a government.
If this rule passes it would prevent Netanyahu from running in the upcoming elections.
Bennett wrote on Twitter that "the right to vote and be elected is sacred and is the essence of democracy."
"Especially amidst elections - the rules of the game shall not be changed, rather Israeli citizens should be allowed to put in their ballots, and I'm convinced they'll choose righteously."
