The United States at this time has not made an assessment that Israel is in violation of U.S. law, the State Department said on Tuesday, after Israel made some changes to address demands laid out in a letter from Washington last month that were intended to improve the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. But the United States would like to see more changes happen, State Department deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel told reporters at a regular news briefing, adding Washington will continue to assess Israel's compliance with U.S. law.
