Turkey appoints a diplomat to its once closed embassy in Syria, Anadolu reports

Turkey's foreign ministry has appointed a temporary charge d'affaires to its embassy in Damascus, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on Thursday.
Turkey closed its embassy in Damascus in 2012 after fighting between rebels and forces of then-President Bashar Assad began.
