Amichai Chikli, Israel's Minister of Diaspora Affairs, is photographed displaying his two middle fingers toward protesters against the Israeli government's proposed judicial overhaul during Sunday's Celebrate Israel parade in New York City. Chikli says in a tweet that his message to the protesters and the gesture he made was for them to “smile” and that he was not cursing. Earlier on Sunday, protesters demonstrated against Chikli outside of the Jewish Agency during the minister's visit. (Ynetnews)
