Submarine Affair: state commission of inquiry summons Netanyahu


The state commission of inquiry investigating the purchase of submarines from Germany has published an updated list of summoned witnesses, which includes sitting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The list also inclues former Prime Minister Ehud Barak, former Defense Minister Moshe (Bogie) Ya'alon and former Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi. A total of 30 people were summoned to testify before the committee, and 104 other people came for interviews as part of the collection of materials, including former President Reuven (Ruvi) Rivlin, former Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit, Major General Roni Numa, former Minister of Justice and Finance Dan Meridor and head of the Strategy and Iran in the IDF General Eliezer Toledano.
