Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday slammed Israel over its policies towards the Palestinian, which he said included "illegal settlements, forced eviction and confiscation of property".
In a video he sent to a conference in Istanbul on behalf of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Erdogan called on its member states not to make any moves that could harm the "Palestinian cause."
His criticism came just days after the release of Natalie and Mordi Oknin from detention in Turkey after they were arrested and accused of espionage having taken a picture of his palace in Istanbul.
