Returned hostage Tsachi Idan murdered in captivity, Netanyahu's office confirms

The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed Thursday that, based on intelligence and available information, hostage Tsachi Idan was murdered in captivity, while Shlomo Mansour was killed during the October 7 Hamas-led attack.
Earlier, the families of Ohad Yahalomi and Itzik Elgarat announced that both had also been murdered while in Hamas captivity.
"We share in the deep sorrow of the families during this difficult time," the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement. The bodies of all four hostages were returned to Israel overnight.
