Cabinet approves emergency banking extension for Palestinian Authority

The Security Cabinet approved Thursday evening a one-year extension for Israeli banks to work with Palestinian banks to prevent the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) financial collapse.
All Cabinet members supported the measure except National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. The decision followed calls from British, French and German foreign ministers to ensure the PA's economic stability.
