Senior Health official: South Africa COVID cases multiply in number every three days

Sharon Alroy-Preis said on Tuesday that the number of COVID cases confirmed in South Africa multiplies every three days.
Speaking to the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, the head of public health in the Health Ministry said the Omicron variant of the virus has 15 mutations strategically located, making it fast spreading.
