Iran to New York Times: Israel attacked the S-300 air defense system

Two Iranian officials, one of whom is a member of the Revolutionary Guards, told The New York Times that Israel attacked the S-300 air defense system at Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport last night. This system provides protection for certain areas of Iran's capital. According to these sources, at least three missile bases of the Revolutionary Guards were attacked in Tehran. They further stated that in the second wave of Israeli strikes, drones targeted the "secret military base" in Parchin on the outskirts of Tehran, with one drone hitting the base while others were shot down.
