The Haifa municipality has decided that the 12-story building that was hit Sunday by a rocket barrage toward the city will be demolished. According to the municipality, "the decision to destroy the building after using engineering tools was made due to the fear that the building will collapse and damage the building next to it." The municipality added that engineering officials determined that it was a dangerous building that could collapse at any moment, and prohibited its residents from entering, not even to take their personal belongings from the apartments. However, Home Front Command personnel will assist as much as possible in removing personal belongings from some of the apartments in the building.
