Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not attend the swearing-in ceremony of Justice Yitzhak Amit as President of the Supreme Court, claiming that he has a "conflict of interest" due to his ongoing trial. This will be the first time since the establishment of the state that the prime minister does not attend the swearing-in ceremony of the Supreme Court president.
