The IDF spokesperson announced that the artillery batteries of Brigade 282, under Division 36 command, have begun operations in the Gaza Strip for the first time since the start of Operation Iron Swords, following intensive activity in various sectors. 'The forces fired more than 5,000 shells at terror targets in the Morag corridor, while providing close support to maneuvering forces. During operations, weapons storage facilities and launch sites of terror organizations in Gaza were destroyed, and militants were eliminated under the direction of the brigade's fire control center,' the statement said. The IDF spokesperson added that forces used the 'Bar' rocket for the first time, which features a navigation system adapted for challenging combat environments.
