The United Nations Security Council will convene an emergency session on Wednesday to address the escalating hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah.
The meeting, initiated by France, will include UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon. The session is scheduled for 6 p.m. New York time (1 a.m. Thursday in Israel).
