Israel to consider proposal for long-truce, disarming Hamas, end of war, report

The latest proposal to bring about a ceasefire in Gaza will be presented to Israeli and Hamas negotiators in Cairo, the Qatari Al Araby channel said on Tuesday. The proposal includes the agreement for a seven-year-long truce in the fighting between Israel and Hamas, the terror group being disarmed and in effect ending its rule over Gaza, and an Israeli withdrawal of troops from the Strip.
