Two survivors of the Nova music festival were detained for two hours at Manchester airport by immigration officials who shouted at them: "We are the boss, not you" and "We need to make sure you are not going to do here what you are doing in Gaza." The Jewish community in Manchester filed a complaint with authorities in England and Manchester Airport, and demanded an urgent investigation be launched to ensure that passengers with Israeli passports can travel without discrimination and without delays. Manchester Airport staff acknowledged the seriousness of the allegations and announced they would launch an investigation. The two Israelis were responsible for rescuing several other survivors of the attack. They suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder, and came to the UK to talk about their experiences as survivors of terrorism, and to raise awareness about the non-profit organization they founded to help survivors of terrorist attacks.
