Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced Tuesday that the tech giant would donate $8 million to Israeli and Gaza NGOs helping relief efforts in both countries. Pichai added that $3 million would go to Israel and help support mental health treatments for victims of Hamas’ attack and their families.
“Our Jewish Googlers around the world are reeling from these attacks — which bring painful reminders of the worst moments in history — and are experiencing a rise in antisemitic incidents that call for increased security at synagogues and schools,” Pichai said.
