Police Chief Danni Levy said on Sunday that alongside meeting the challenges of war, the Israel Police will continue to stand guard against terror and crime, with a particular focus on crime in the Arab community.
“At the heart of our work is a determined and consistent fight against crime, especially in Arab society,” Levy told officers at a police ceremony ahead of Independence Day. “We will destroy this monster and that is our commitment to the Arab sector.”
He added that earlier this month the force launched a long‑term strategic plan centered on strengthening governance, sovereignty and uncompromising enforcement of the law.
