Following the Ynet report about terrorists being hospitalized in public hospitals alongside Israelis wounded from the war, Health Minister Moshe Arbel contacted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and informed him that he had ordered the treatment of Hamas terrorists to be stopped in public hospitals. In a letter to Netanyahu, Arbel wrote: "The mission of security and treatment of the damned and despicable terrorists within the public health system has significantly damaged the efforts to treat the victims of the massacre, the IDF soldiers and the preparedness for what is to come. And therefore, under my guidance, the public health system will not treat them." (Adir Yanko)
