Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's office said U.S. President Joe Biden called him late informing him he is looking forward to the meeting between the two on Friday after it had been postponed over a deadly attack in Kabul airport.
During the call, Bennett reportedly expressed his condolences following the terrorist attack in Afghanistan that killed 13 U.S. service people. "We stand by you at this difficult time as the United States has stood by Israel over the years."
Biden reportedly "thanked the prime minister for showing understanding about the change of the time of their meeting."
