Russia strikes Ukraine with 190 missiles and drones in response to use of American weapons

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Thursday that "Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with 90 missiles and 100 drones" in response to Ukrainian long-range strikes on Russian territory with Western weapons, including the attack carried out by Ukraine using American ATACMS surface-to-surface missiles. Russia is selecting targets in Ukraine that could include "decision-making centers" in Kyiv, Putin said. Putin said Russia's production of advanced missile systems exceeds that of the NATO military alliance by 10 times, and that Moscow planned to ramp up production further.
