The Israeli military is accelerating its operational plans and readiness levels to deal with Iran and the threat of its military nuclear program, IDF Chief of staff Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi said during a discussion of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
Kochavi further stated that the military is active in six different theaters, all of which he described as "active."
"I am pleased that the approved budget allows us to meet this range of challenges, including a significant improvement of all operational procurement plans, as well as training, both of regular forces and reserves," he said.
