Families of Israeli hostages affiliated with the Tikva Forum advocacy group sent a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanding a comprehensive agreement to secure the release of all captives. “A year and a half after the October 7 massacre, partial deals have become a dangerous norm,” the letter states, accusing negotiation teams of abandoning the goal of a full deal. “Hamas is gaining legitimacy as a governing force, while the hostages are left behind to a slow death.” The families warned that Hamas’s rejection of the current proposal highlights the low intensity of Israeli military pressure. “With the U.S. administration now changed and all excuses exhausted—it's time to act,” the letter concluded.
