US 'fundamentally rejects' ICC arrest warrants, NSC spokesman says

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby responded to the decision of the International Criminal Court in The Hague (ICC) to issue the arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. "The United States fundamentally rejects Court's decision to issue arrest warrants for senior Israeli officials. We remain deeply concerned by the Prosecutor's rush to seek arrest warrants and the troubling process errors that led to this decision," Kirby said. "It is clear to the United States that the court has no jurisdiction in this matter."
