Next Knesset elections in Israel to be held in 2026

Central Elections Committee chairman, Supreme Court Justice Noam Sohlberg, announced Thursday that the 26th Knesset elections in Israel will be held on October 27, 2026.
This comes after Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara said back in March that the elections should not take place in 2027, despite the fact that less than four years will have passed since the elections for the 25th Knesset.
