Syria's de facto ruler Ahmed al-Sharaa said on Monday after a meeting with Qatar's state minister for foreign affairs that Qatar expressed a readiness to invest in Syria in sectors including energy and ports. Sharaa added that he invited Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to visit Syria.
