Houthi rebels claim to down US MQ-9 drone over Yemen

Yemen’s Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree claimed on Thursday the rebel group shot down a U.S.-made MQ-9 Reaper drone over Yemen.
If confirmed, it would mark the 17th drone downed by the Iran-backed group since October 7, 2023, according to Houthi claims.
