David Ben Avraham, or Sameh Zaytoun, a 63-year-old Palestinian from Hebron who converted, is the person who was shot to death Thursday morning by IDF reserve fighters near the Elazar settlement in Gush Etzion. The fighters shot him after they found a knife in his bag during a search. The IDF announced that the military police opened an investigation into the incident, and is investigating the reserve soldier who shot Ben Avraham. (Elisha Ben Kimon and Yoav Zitun)
