Herzog taps out of UN climate change summit citing security concerns

President Isaac Herzog’s office announced on Saturday that he won’t attend the COP29 conference in Azerbaijan “following a situation assessment and amid security concerns.”
Herzog was set to meet and participate in the summit held in the Iran-adjacent country.
