Car of missing Chabad emissary found abandoned in UAE amid terror suspicions

The car belonging to Rabbi Zvi Kogan, a Chabad emissary who went missing in the UAE in recent days, was discovered on Saturday abandoned in Al-Ain, a city roughly 90 minutes from Dubai, deepening fears that he was kidnapped and murdered.
Israeli officials suspect that Kogan, who managed the Rimon kosher supermarket in Dubai, was targeted by three Uzbek nationals who later fled to Turkey.
The Mossad has launched an "intensive" investigation, describing Kogan’s disappearance as a terror attack. Israeli intelligence officials believe the alleged Uzbek cell was directed by Iran to maintain plausible deniability. Initial findings suggest Kogan was followed by the suspects after leaving his supermarket. His car was later found abandoned, and his phone was switched off.
Israeli authorities are now working closely with Turkish counterparts to locate the suspects. Meanwhile, a high-level Israeli delegation has been dispatched to the UAE to assist in the investigation.
