The State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against Majid Hijazi from Tamra and four additional defendants for extorting victims using threatening and violent reputation in connection with a land dispute. According to the indictment, the five operated in a criminal, threatening and sophisticated manner, working in coordination over time. They compelled various victims to pay them hundreds of thousands of shekels and give up their land rights through threats of violence, leveraging their association with the Hariri crime family.
