State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman said at the Tel Aviv University Friends Association's Business-Academic Club that "our office is currently conducting an audit of the handling of hostages and the assistance and support provided to their families. The audit will focus on the government's treatment of those returning from Gaza, their families, and the families of those still held hostage.' According to him, "Israeli citizens deserved to receive answers about the failures much earlier. We are currently in the midst of a thorough audit of all levels."
