Israeli Consul General in New York Ofir Akunis reacted to the release of three Israeli hostages released on Saturday, saying Hamas’ actions prove that "they are Nazis, sometimes even worse."
"For many years, even before the October 7 massacre, I have said Hamas are Nazis," Akunis said. "Today, they proved it once again to the world. I will never forget and certainly never forgive Hamas' atrocities—just as I do not forgive or forget the crimes of Nazi Germany during World War II."
