The Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee unanimously approved a bill to define the United Nations refugee agency, UNRWA, as a terrorist organization, and it will go up for a first reading in the Knesset plenum likely next week. The initiator of the law, Knesset member Yulia Malinovsky from Israel Beiteinu, said: "UNRWA's crimes on October 7 and the agency's cooperation with terrorist organizations are unforgivable. An organization whose employees are social workers, doctors and teachers by day, and terrorists by night is a terrorist organization for all intents and purposes."
