The attack in Beirut aimed at senior Hezbollah figure Muhammad Haydar was unsuccessful, Israeli security sources told Saudi newspaper Al-Hadath on Saturday.
Earlier, Israeli officials told Sky News Arabia that Haydar, described as the "strategic-security brain" of Hezbollah, heads the group’s operations department and had served as an adviser to former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
