Kanye West is once again seeking to "shock" the world with antisemitic statements and swastikas. The last time he did this two and a half years ago, and later apologized in Hebrew, it cost him millions in losses and the termination of his contracts with fashion brands Balenciaga and Adidas, with whom he had business relations. However, in the past year and a half, the public and political climate has changed, and his antisemitic statements are difficult to dismiss as a tweet from a soul-crushing person, but should be seen as a call to action.
Last weekend, the American musician posted a series of antisemitic messages on the X social media platform, which led to the closure of his X account yesterday on Sunday. "I'm a Nazi, I love Hitler," West wrote on Friday. In other tweets, he claimed that he would "never trust Jews" and "would not work with Jews." When the photos of the hostages from Gaza began to arrive on Saturday morning, his messages took on additional weight and were harder to ignore.

At the same time, West decided to launch sales of a white T-shirt with a black swastika print under his Yeezy label, which a direct link on his Instagram page leads to, and it is the only item being sold on the site. The price of the shirt is 73 shekels (about $20) and the site even offers shipping to Israel.

The swastika print cannot be interpreted in any other way than hatred of Jews. Incidentally, T-shirts bearing antisemitic symbols are nothing new, and can be found for sale on international sites.
This isn't West's only recent fashion scandal, and he seems desperate for negative attention.
Last week, he arrived at the Grammys with his partner, Bianca Sensori. After Sensori stripped down and stood on the red carpet in a see-through dress, the pair were removed from the event by LAPD.
He later posted on X that: "I have dominion over my wife. This ain't no woke a** feminist s***."
"She's with a billionaire. Why would she listen to any of you dumb a** broke b******? Yes, I don't make her do nothing she doesn't want, but she definitely wouldn't have been able to do it without my approval."
