Netanyahu to discuss ICC arrest warrants amid calls for US backing

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to convene a meeting Monday to decide whether to appeal the International Criminal Court's arrest warrants issued against him and former defense minister Yoav Gallant.
While professional advisers recommend filing an appeal, political leaders reportedly prefer to wait for support from U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.
“The Americans are planning ‘hellish sanctions’ against any country assisting the court, and that will put an end to this matter," a senior Israeli official said.
