The Central District Court in Lod has upheld a police appeal and extended the house arrest of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s adviser Jonatan Urich and his former PMO security spokesperson Eli Feldstein by two weeks, as part of the ongoing investigation into the so-called Qatargate affair.
During the hearing, police presented confidential documents to Judge Amit Michaels, which allegedly outline the financial trail at the center of the case. While the judge noted that the money trail is not the primary focus of the investigation, he said it is still part of the evidence under review.
