Netanyahu discusses Syria and regional security with senior Biden adviser Sullivan

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met on Thursday with U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan to discuss Israel’s temporary control of the buffer zone in Syria until an effective force can enforce the 1974 disengagement agreement.
Netanyahu stressed the need to assist minorities in Syria and prevent terrorism originating from Syrian territory.
Defense Minister Israel Katz, IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, Mossad Director David Barnea and Shin Bet Director Ronen Bar also attended.
